Assign a usage type to a space

This article shows you how to assign a space usage type to a space or room in the Editor

All spaces in an Archilogic floor plan model can be assigned a designated space usage governed by the floor plan model's space categories. This structure ensures that data is organized and addressable for efficient analysis.

To assign a usage type to a space, switch to the 2D view of the editor canvas. Left-click an empty area inside the space you want to select. With the space selected, navigate to the Configuration section of the Inspector panel on the right. Select one of the available options from the Usage dropdown menu.
