# Furnish a space automatically

## This article shows you how to automatically furnish a space in the Editor

You can automatically furnish a space based on its designated usage in the Editor. 

This is a **beta** feature only available for certain space usage types.

 

To do so, select the space you wish to furnish by **left-clicking** an empty area inside the space. With the space selected, navigate it to the **Assets** section of the **Inspector panel** on the right. Click on the **Auto layout** button at the bottom.

Within a few seconds, our AI-furnishing algorithm will calculate a possible furniture layout and populate the space with furniture assets. For example, it will put a bed in a bedroom or a dining table in a dining room. You can edit the suggested layout manually or click the **Auto layout** button to try a different result.

 

Changes are [autosaved](https://help.archilogic.com/knowledge/autosave?hsLang=en) in the Editor, but don't forget to [publish your model](https://help.archilogic.com/knowledge/publish-a-model?hsLang=en) when you are ready to make the changes public.
