Draw a kitchen

This article shows you how to create or edit a kitchen in the Editor.

A Kitchen is a combination of cabinets and appliances used for preparing and storing food. The kitchen object is one of the parametric components in the Archilogic Editor.

To add or configure a kitchen in the Editor, you must be in the structural editing mode. Learn how to activate structural editing mode.

To draw a new kitchen object, open the drawing drop-down menu by left-clicking the drawing icon in the menu bar on the top and selecting the kitchen drawing tool.

The selected drawing tool will replace the icon of the drawing menu while also showing you which tool is currently active.

You can also type the keyboard shortcut KI on Mac or Windows to activate the kitchen tool.

With the kitchen tool activated, navigate to the canvas, left-click where you want to start drawing a kitchen, move your mouse cursor, and then left-click again where you want the kitchen to end.

Editor Draw Kitchen MenuTo further customize the kitchen, simply select it again by left-clicking the kitchen object in the 2D canvas view. You can now configure the properties of the kitchen in the Inspector panel on the right side of the window.
