How to export attributes tied to a floor plan as CSV
This article will show you how you can export default and custom attribute values tied to various resources of your Archilogic floor plan as a CSV file
To export default and custom attribute values as a CSV file you first have to open the floor plan from which you want to export the values in the Archilogic Editor.
Then open the main menu and select Floor > Export > Export CSV.

This will open the CSV export menu where you can specify which data you wish to export.

First, you have to select the Resource type you wish to export. Do this by left-clicking the first drop-down menu and selecting either Assets, Spaces, or Products.
- Assets are instances of Products. They represent all the component instances, all the tables, chairs, and other furniture objects that are in your floor plan.
Use case example: You want to check which person is using-, or which serial number is tied to a chair in your floor plan. You can also check to which space each individual asset is associated with. - Spaces refer to all the areas in your floor plan that are either surrounded by a wall (rooms) or by space dividers (spaces).
Use case example: You want to check the area size of each space or which department a room belongs to. - Products refer to the source object of interior assets.
Use case example: You want to check how many of the same chairs and tables you have in your floor plan, or what their Product-IDs are.

The next step is to select the properties that should be part of the CSV. You can choose from a selection of:
- Default Attributes - Attributes that each Archilogic resource can receive from the start
- Custom Attributes - Attribute types that were set up by you or someone in your Archilogic account
- Context - Attributes from other, connected resource types that provide additional context.
- Position - Position values on the coordinate system. Position values are only available for the resource type Assets.

After setting up which data you wish to export you can click the + button to see a preview of the CSV list. Click the - button to hide the preview again.

If you're happy with how your list looks like, you can click the blue Export button at the bottom of the menu to export a CSV and save it on your computer.
