This article shows you how to use the editor to draw and edit stairs

To draw a stair object you have to first open an Archilogic building model in the editor.
Make sure that you've unlocked structural editing first.
Once structural editing has been unlocked left-click the pencil button and select Stairs from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can also use the "ST" shortcut to select the stair drawing tool.
Start drawing a stair object by left-clicking into the scene and moving your mouse cursor to the desired direction. Left-click again to place the stairs.
Select the stair object by left-clicking it to access additional drawing options in the menu bar on the right side of the window.
With the X and Z values, you can change the position of the stairs in the X and Z axis respectively while the Base position value allows you to adjust the distance of the stairs from the floor.
The Height value allows you to control how high the stairs should be while the Lenght value determines the length of the stairs. With the Width value, you can adjust the overall width of the stairs.
The configurations menu allows you to customize the overall look and type of the stairs object.
The Stair type dropdown menu allows you to choose between 8 different types:
- Straight with landing
- Half landing
- 2 quarter landing
- Double winder
With the Step width value, you can adjust the width of the steps.
The Railing type dropdown menu allows you to choose between 2 different railing types:
- Vertical bars
The Railing position dropdown menu allows you to choose between 4 different options to determine the position of the railing:
- No railings
- Left side
- Right side
- Both sides
The Materials menu allows you to select preset materials for both the steps and also for the tread of the stairs.
